Self Care Checklist - some tips for you to create yours!


Self Care Checklist

A self care checklist is very personal but worth having one handy for those times you may be feeling a little overwhelmed, burnt out or in need of a healthy distraction from the daily stressors of life. 

They don't need to be expensive, time consuming or grand gestures - self care can be the simple act of taking a step away from the computer screen to make a cup of tea, or a 10 minute walk around the block. 

Here are some self care checklist thought starters to help you begin! Make sure you don't forget those little daily things you can do to take care of yourself.

  • Take a bath.
  • Write a list of everything you're grateful for in that moment.
  • Listen to a podcast or audio book. 
  • Go for a walk.
  • Take a bath. 
  • Watch your favorite TV show or movie.
  • Eat your favourite food. 
  • Bake something you or your family loves to eat.
  • Text or call a friend or family member.
  • Take yourself out for a coffee or breakfast. 
  • Take a free yoga class on You Tube (we love Yoga with Adriene!).  
  • Listen to your favourite song. 
  • Take a shower and treat yourself afterwards with your favourite moisturiser. 
  • Take the make up off, put your PJs on and take some time to relax. 

Making time for yourself is so important to ensuring you can re-charge and reconnect with yourself in amongst your day. 

This is your little reminder to take those little caring moments for yourself - you truly deserve it.
